So here is a new pattern!<br />
<br />
It's that time of year where I am trying to clean and organize. But I got distracted with the yarn I had just waiting for me in my closet.<br />
<br />
And so I had to use it somehow, and what better way then a shopping bag? This bag is a bit different from most. You start at the bottom and make a decently solid base then the middle of the bag is like a netting, then you complete the handles last. The reason this bag ended up being two colors was I ran out of the black yarn. But I ended up loving the contrast of black and then the colorful pop of the other color. It took be about 4 hours total to make it and write and publish the pattern. So it should take around 3 hours to make.<br />
<br />
So without further ado, here is the Pop in Black Grocery Bag! (Though it can be used for other things than groceries).<br />

<br />
This pattern is for an e-reader. I made it for my kindle fire and it fits as snug as a bug in a rug! The basketweave stitch allows for a nice padding around the kindle and the way it is completely open at one end allows for charging while the e-reader is in its case. I hope you enjoy making it as I did! And I enjoy using it even more! Have a Very Merry Christmas!<br />
<br />
<i>Update: Fits a Kindle Fire HD as well!</i> <br />

Hello everybody! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I haven't posted in awhile. Well I am back! Hope everyone's new year is going well so far. Well, I crochet quite lot but I also knit. I am very much a beginner. I was looking at all these lovely wrist warmer patterns, but they used double pointed needles. I can't knit with double pointed needles so I decided to make my own pattern with two needles.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This pattern makes a rectangle type shape that you sew together at the end. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglppaWlmMsCkaa8PF_c46dFllqqVTPp40ljvByoFEWBb2B-Fhkl50o4TbLtWvH1FJeYGs0wOjwSzQcjGNeKFxhfZ3n3d7mBzcV0ZDhyLtAljDIg7bAVbJEXwqdddkvb0yXmToZMhmePak/s1600/securedownload.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglppaWlmMsCkaa8PF_c46dFllqqVTPp40ljvByoFEWBb2B-Fhkl50o4TbLtWvH1FJeYGs0wOjwSzQcjGNeKFxhfZ3n3d7mBzcV0ZDhyLtAljDIg7bAVbJEXwqdddkvb0yXmToZMhmePak/s1600/securedownload.jpeg" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Materials:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
-Size 6 Needles</div>

-Yarn Needle</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Pattern: (make 2, right and left are made the same)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Start by making the cuff:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Middle:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Top Cuff:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Rows 34-39) *Knit 2, Purl 2* across</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Bind Off, leave a long end (at least 30 inches) to sew up edges. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To sew: Fold rectangle in half, whip stitch 1 inch down the side, skip 2 1/4 inches by weaving yarn down one edge of the rectangle, finish sewing (about 4 inches) down the cuff. Make a knot and weave about an inch of yarn through the rectangle. Cut the yarn. Weave in any remainding ends. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="font: normal normal normal 13px/normal 'Times New Roman'; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">-Pattern is worked in one piece and is divided into three sections, Section A, Section B, and Section C.</span></div>
<div style="font: normal normal normal 13px/normal 'Times New Roman'; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">- Pattern is worked in rows, there are the basic rows (Row 1, Row 2, ect.) and then there are rows to help you make the points of the ornament and these are a bit longer than the basic rows (Row A, Row B, ect.)</span></div>
<div style="font: normal normal normal 13px/normal 'Times New Roman'; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">-You do not FO until the very end of the pattern</span></div>
